I had to laugh just now. Hubby is watching the footy on one end of the couch and Maxx was snoozing at the other end. I plonked myself in the middle for a cuddle from both but Maxx put his head up and looked at me in utter horror (or so it looked)! Clearly I was trespassing or something. So I went into the kitchen and he (Maxx) followed me in case there was a chance of food. Nope. When I went back into the loungeroom he was once again on the couch....but this time in the middle next to hubby! If a dog could look smug, he did. Honestly. Too funny

Chewie does the opposite of this. He stares at me until I move to the middle, so he can sit on the end and snuggle me, rather than sitting next to hubby. *Smug*

I heard this afternoon @Candy, that they have found a care home in Malvern (where I live) for his 4 week assessment and he is being moved tomorrow morning! It happened all of a sudden! They did intend to send him to Birmingham a couple of weeks ago, not realising that was 48 miles away from me! I am looking at a more permanent care home tomorrow morning for the future. Poor Mike, I feel so sad for him.
Just reading this now. I know you are still so sad for Mike, but I'm really relieved for you that he'll be nearby for his assessment.

I was so pleased when Silas came to tell me about secondary school which he started this last week . Bless him, he has had some hurdles to overcome but has received much help from the village school he has attended up until July . Well he loved his new school and thoroughly enjoyed Science and French , and has already joined the Drama Group Its all so different , having to go to school on the bus , leaving the school where he was one of just 15 in his class ! So very relieved and happy for him x
