Approved for a pup! Only a yellow girl available, so a family meeting is being held (I really want black, everyone else has always wanted a yellow). We can ask after a black boy, or go on a waiting list for sometime later in the year. Decisions, decisions.

In all seriousness though, I think the girl/boy decision is greater than the black/yellow decision.

I've always wondered if Ella is so specific in her needs (aka high maintenance) because of her gender. Or, does gender have nothing to do with it?

Boys have simpler needs and are lazy soppy creatures. The just want you food and cuddles,. Girls seem to have a different agenda

Stanley couldn’t give a crap about most things. Very easy laid back dog.

As long as he gets fed and a walk he’s no bother. Happy for his routine to be changed/goes with the flow.

I finally finished my jigsaw!! (Minus a few missing pieces - no idea where they are)
I did this entire jigsaw without seeing the picture and THEN I found the box would’ve been useful a week ago...

Lovely walk this morning with Otter and Benson, out at 7am, back at 9am. There is a little footpath just by the cottage. At the top I took a different route than normal, which was beautiful! Only thing is I didn't tell @Mr Beanwood, so he was on the verge of sending out a search party when I got back...oops!

This morning I ordered some bedding plants online from Jersey Plants Direct . I didnt have to create an account but I did , and it reminded me of a past order . In 2008 , I had ordered a load of small plug plants for the border we had then in our front garden , they arrived and were carefully planted out in said border . Living next door at the time was a wonderful old man called Clifford , he was very obviously suffering from dementia so we kept a close eye on him , he was a darling . We had gone out shopping and upon our return, he came out to proudly tell us that he had weeded out border for us, saying how much he had enjoyed doing it, no need to thank him Bless him , all my plug plants , gone
