What made you smile today?

A tiny corner crust of toast fell off Nathan's plate as he went to put his breakfast plate back in the kitchen.

Ella's head popped straight up, she got up out of her crate and quickly ate the scraps. Then she went to the table to make sure she hadn't missed any crumbs. So happy to see her with an appetite 🥰
Good sign!

Nothing spectacular really but I found a company online who are sending out bedding plants in plug size, with a very reasonable delivery charge . I then found half a large bag of compost in the greenhouse so I will plant out a few of my lovely pots and tubs . I wasnt going to bother for two reasons , did it really matter to do this right now ? Well yes , life has to go on as normal as we can possibly manage . The second reason might be an issue , Reubs has got into the habit of cocking his leg up on the pots

Just watching bits of Antiques Road Show, dipping in and out whilst connecting with family and friends, and there was Lars Tharp and a memory th6 made me smile.
Back in 2012 the Antiques Road Show went to Newstead Abbey, near where Little Brother and Jenny live. The four of us went along, taking stuff to be valued, along with my niece, Sarah and Solstice Dog. It was a lovely day and although we had to queue for a while we took it in turns to take Sol for walks, go for coffee etc, we'd taken a picnic so it was all very pleasant. At one stage Lars Tharp appeared and stopped to make a fuss of Sol, saying 'I have a chocolate one like this!'
She rolled straight on her back of course, demanding tummy rubs and he happily obliged. He said, ' Oh, she's lovely! How old is she?' I replied that she was two, so not an antique . He said, ' But she is priceless

I thought he seemed like a nice chap, but then I would if he admired my dog, wouldn't I?
A friend has just sent me a YouTube thing, Chris Franklin singing his song 'Stay the **** at home ' That has made me smile, laugh and applaud. Probably should be played on TV at every ad. break!

Approved for a pup! Only a yellow girl available, so a family meeting is being held (I really want black, everyone else has always wanted a yellow). We can ask after a black boy, or go on a waiting list for sometime later in the year. Decisions, decisions.
oooooh! How exciting @Ashley. I may be a little bit biased but GO YELLOW!!!!
