What made you smile today?

Oh! Oh! Don't know if this has made me smile or cry! (Both actually)
Trevor's daughter Melanie has just sent me stuff that her children have been working on since lockdown. Cassidy, who is now 13, has been looking at Andy Warhol's work and has made an amazing collage of soup tins, and Nia, 11, is keeping a lockdown journal . She always seems like such a little live wired scatterbrain (Cassidy, by contrast is a quiet and very thoughtful boy) but here is something she's written in her journal, 'Don't discriminate. People are kind inside. Don't make them scared inside.'
I am so looking forward to seeing them, hugging them again and with luck, getting to know the people they grow up to be.

Im hiding in the bedroom getting ready and I can’t dry my hair until Rory wakes up. I’ve got my head phones in and I’ve just taken one out and I can hear OH talking to someone all lovey and giving them kisses.

This gives me no clue as to whether Rory is awake because that could just as easily be Stanley he’s talking to 🤣

Cutting Nellys hair is a nightmare , I have about ten minutes of cooperation and then thats it , wriggle wriggle , it needs cutting every six weeks  The very worst part of her to do is her feet, its almost impossible . So just now , she was fast asleep by my side , so I crept out, got the dog scissors and did them all ( very quickly ) , and she hadnt got a clue :giggl:
