What made you smile today?

A message from Shelli, who's been looking after Joy for me while I've been poorly: her Lab, Buddy keeps stealing Joy's ball while she isn't looking. However, Joy has now found where the balls are kept and keeps on producing one after the other as if off a conveyor belt. Poor Buddy just doesn't know what to do with them all! She's a clever girl! Is it me, or does she look a tiny bit smug in this photo? It made me chuckle anyway!:cwl::cwl:View attachment 32989
She looks amused and a bit cheeky♥ hope you're better soon.

Early on Saturday evening , we were in the garden watering and heard singing , it was coming from over the road at Debbies house, many voices  We were happy to hear them all having a good time , came in, had a cool shower and got our PJ`s on when my phone rang , it was my elder grandson Adam , asking us to go over and join them , take the dogs too . I explained that we had got our night attire on, to which he replied that it didnt matter one jot what we rocked up wearing, so over we went . There were about 8 of them , Debbie, two of her sons , one sons girlfriend and some friends who welcomed us to their impromptu party . Then a couple of neighbours joined us all , and there we were, two oldies in nightclothes , singing away until we decided to tone it down at about 10.p.m. Just one of those evenings that stay in memories and make me smile xx

I have booked a week in Wales close to my parents. Channel tunnel booked, gorgeous cottage in Llanymynech and overnight stays in hotels. All dog friendly. We are all going in August and I get to see my parents without worrying about them being stressed with a full house. Expensive yes, but life is too short and COVID meant 2 years with no physical contact with my parents.
