Beginning of Day 5 in our new house (WiFi will be sorted Thursday ). Red had mega zoomies on the lawn when I let her out first thing this morning.

Bless her - the last few years in our previous house, I had to take her out on her lead because of the risk of reaction to the two snarling dogs living behind us. Although we trained her not to react successfully, I was never brave enough to let her out off lead for that early morning toilet routine. I didn’t want to risk starting the day with an upset.

We only have one neighbour to one side and she is lovely. The garden is completely private and not overlooked in anyway so yes we will be able to relax. On Sunday we sat on our bench and listened to the church bells ringing

I love a moon gate. Round shapes and garden gates somehow make everything a bit more magical.

My little guy helped me plant potatoes. He even helped me carry 50L bags of potting mix around. Gosh he's strong.

Here he is topping up the soil in some pots ready for planting some flowers. Just standard gardening attire in this house.

This made me smile when the postlady delivered it this morning . Mags painted this of Reuben and Carbon playing in the waves at Harlyn Bay recently , we love it and just in time for my 77th birthday on Sunday too ! xxx
