My son is keeping his job. What a relief! EasyJet have asked all their pilots to go part time and they have agreed. No redundancies at all so long as things don’t get worse.

He will keep his house, but going part time it will be tight money wise for a while now that he’s single. So, of course, the Bank of Mum and Dad has gladly stepped in until things get better. He’s training to become a captain, so should soon be paying for our old folks home or fancy Japanese toilet that wipes your bum. 🤣🤣

Reuben has been to Anna today as she is not available on Friday this week , so off he went happy as a little sand boy . Anna brought him home about fifteen minutes ago , telling me that they had all had a wonderful time today playing in the new pond/stream that her brother has dug out for her utilising a natural spring . She went on to say that because they were all chasing in and out of the pond, the sides got muddy so just before hometime, they all had to be washed down in her massive cattle feeder tub . Apparently , just as the last dog had been cleaned , she turned round to see Reubs back in the pond and subsequent mud so he had to have bath number 2 :facepalm: He has come home squeaky clean and very very happy xx

The smoke detector went off today while my daughter was grilling sausages. I don’t know what she does but she's always doing it!!

Reeva, whose mind and body work at nothing less than the speed of light I swear, was on her feet and into the kitchen from the garden before the first beep , back out of the kitchen to the hall where she knew my daughter would get out the long handled broom to turn off the alarm like it was the greatest fun going ... it's race time :laughdog::laughdog:

Cassie on the other hand has at some point in the last year has decided that few things require major physical effort ( those being pheasants, young men who are sure to rough and tumble her and rotting apples ☺) she merely lifted her head and looked, thought oh that again and went back to sleep 😊
