I went to pay for my new glasses today and just slipped into hotel Chocolat.

I dropped Nathan at childcare and accidentally bought a chocolate croissant from the bakery on my way home. It was wonderful with my coffee

My friend has *accidentally* been travelling to a bakery 2 villages away, maybe 8-9 miles round trip because she's discovered perfect almond croissants. She justifies this by a reduced commute

Took Joy and Tess for their morning walk. We went along the towpath to the river then on to the woods. As we were trotting happily along Joy spotted a ball in the canal. It is her mission in life to rescue things from the canal but the ball was beyond reach and being a cautious dog she won't go into water that she can't get herself out of. I looked for a stick or fallen branch to pull it closer but couldn't find one. By this stage Joy was crying and pawing at the water. Then suddenly there was a splash! Tess had jumped into the canal! She swam out to the ball, retrieved it, hauled herself back onto the towpath and dropped it infront of Joy. Such a sweet kind girl! They really are the best of friends.

Today is Reubens Playgroup day , so as usual I took Nelly to a small park in nearby Liskeard, its very safe for her as its completely enclosed and she loves it . There are trees , bushes and a little bridge over a tiny streamlet which she adores scampering over, back and forth .
This morning , I took the path around a large bushy tree , she went round the other way and then stood looking for me , so I went round her side but by then, she had come round my side so she missed me . This musical trees went on for a few minutes until I realised that she knew exactly where I was , it was a little game, bless xx

This is Lucky who is 10 weeks old. Last week he was scared of Hunter and now he launches himself all over him!
