A few days ago , Paul asked me what I would like for Christmas , I was glad he had asked as he usually buys me something quite ridiculous, but its the thought I suppose . We have bought a new DVD player and new twinset phones , so this was just to be a token present , so I told him I would like some thermal socks , but pretty ones . He doesnt use the internet so I got up a page on Amazon with a choice of about 6 pairs that I really liked and told him to click Buy Now on the pack he thought I would like . He sat there looking , I turned away so that at least the choice would be a surprise and I talked him through how to click on . He eventually said , ` I`ve done it , I clicked on the pink striped ones I thought you would love ` . Oh well , never mind , surprises are over rated

I shouldn’t laugh really but Rory’s new phase is point blank refusing bedtime.

Today he was sat in his cot putting his hand to his ear pretending he’s on the phone while chitter chattering away in his own language, properly fuming.

I’d love to know who he was imagining he was slagging me off to probs his Nanna

Then I also have this one. Who knows he’s not allowed on the couch but doesn’t want to sit in his blanket so he’s sat on us

I have just woken up to the news that my best friend has had her baby! I am absolutely bursting with happiness and he is absolutely stunning. Can’t wait to meet the little guy!
Oh I’m just so happy I’ve got tears in my eyes

We are released into the wild today! Hurrah! I’m good at pottering but missed my dog walks. We didn’t miss shopping and shall continue to do it all online, with supermarket, veg box and butcher’s deliveries.

Mr Boogs and I argued over who would take Tatze - we don’t both go together as our walking paces are so different that neither of us enjoy it. So she has had two walks this morning! She looked a bit bemused but soon took it in her stride.

This afternoon we are picking Echo up.
