Lilly is the same with our front inside door @Xena Dog Princess , has to be all the way open before she will go through.
Not so bad with other doors, but never uses her nose or anything to edge it open.
Though in actual fact, will stand by her bed if it has a toy dropped on it (maybe by a puppy) and doesn't pick it up herself and move it.
They are strange beasties at times.

I wish. Carbon can and does get through the smallest opening. I can't seem to train my lovely neighbours to understand this. 50% of the time that Lesley comes over, she doesn't close the gate between our two gardens completely and Carbon is over at their place in two seconds flat. She always says, "But it was just open a crack!".

Yep.

Plus he's just been reinforced in his love for their house. Now that makes three times: (1) eating Rosie's entire dinner that had just been put out, (2) getting into their kitchen and eating god knows what off the counter, and (3) yesterday Lesley had just put out "fish and bread" for the birds on their lawn which of course he snarfed down.

There is no hope that he will ever forget that their house is a magical place of free food. It's going to blow his mind when we move in there next month. 😏

As somebody with glasses they are absolutely essential in the rain! Can't live without my brolly.
That’s why I had my eyes lasered. I was fed up of not seeing the view - either because of my (terrible) eyesight or steamed up rain dripping glasses. I tried contacts but just couldn’t do it.

I have never regretted it and I’ve saved a fortune. My glasses were £400 every six months as my prescription was complicated and expensive. My laser surgery was twelve years ago and what I’ve saved in specs is way more than I paid. Now I just need reading glasses - £5 a pair from Amazon!

@Boogie I would like to have laser surgery. I do wear contacts sometimes but am now finding them kind of gritty in my eyes, so mainly wear glasses now. I have not an off the shelf prescription and glasses are so expensive. When I went for the surgery about 15 years ago, I was refused as my tests did not show I had the same prescription for 2 years. I am really holding out for the surgery that sorts both long and short sight in one go. xx

Wispa is the same. She just stands by the door and looks pathetically for help, even though she could just nudge it with her nose. Tuppence opens any door with a lever handle, so the doors to the garden have to be kept locked!

Clever Tuppence! Jess can open doors that are even slightly ajar but she's never figured out lever handles (though I suppose she does have a height disadvantage on a labrador), and never jumps or climbs onto surfaces generally. Brodie is the opposite - excellent at climbing and jumping and throwing himself against doors to make them open, but it would never occur to him to use his nose and paws to open things. It's just as well that he and Jess don't really team up much as they would conquer the house if they worked together.

WHAT? I have never heard of this! Man, the things women had to do. At least there are now amazing tights that are made to fit, hello https://snagtights.com/
I am so gullible  - I saw this last night and spent a good hour ooohing and aaahing at the colours, now it’s all over my Facebook page, so I’m just deciding which colours to get and whether to get a pair of footless ones. And I’ve got a whole drawer of tights I never wear as I spend all my time in dog walking or gardening clothes:facepalm: .

Cassie doesn't give a second thought to blasting open any door that she wants to go through !!:giggl:
But she does like things to be moved off any space she wants to lie oN ☺

I did have to laugh a few days ago , she'd been sorting out her anal glands on her little sofa, there must have been a bit of a spillage because she got off and stood looking at it until I cleaned the area and covered it 😁

Barley used to whoomph doors open with her nose, no messing. She'd also do it for the cat that we had at the time when he told her to:wasntme: which is why most of our inside doors have small bolts on them.
Sol had a very particular bark she would give when she wanted to go through a closed door. It was just one single loud bark. We used to call it 'One woof for in'. Little Joy will push a door that is ajar open with her nose but if it's closed properly she just stands and looks sad until I notice her.:saddog:
