What made you smile today?

@SwampDonkey I hope Rory is recovering well and fingers crossed the tumours are benign. x
General thoughts on these growths is that they will grow back. This is the second time they've been taken out. A painful tooth involved was taken out too. My vet feels that if they do come back Rory will have to see a dental specialist. X-rays show the jaw is clear so we're just making plans with the vet on what we'll do when/if he does need more surgery. He's being so cheeky this morning and not happy about not coming out with us.

He's on tramadol as he can't use some drugs. I've noticed he recovers well with methdrone and tramadol. Hes really perky today his ball sack is horribly bruised but a lot less than some I've seen. I been with him since the op totally. If I leave the room he gets coned and split from Iver. I don't let him touch his wounds ever. I don't let Iver either. Today Ivers not so interested so healing has started and there's no infection. Ivers been in a collar and lead in the house if necessary. He is not left alone with Rory.I've managed them strictly it works but is hard work. He's been eating well and resting. He's clearly in pain but I'm managing it for him. I deeply regret and upset about his castration but it was a medical necessity. He really is such a lovely dog he came and sat on my knee today so he could lie back and have his tummy tickled. The vet loves him because he's just so sweet and cuddly and the vet nurse just thought he was a cuddly bear. They were very good with him and hopefully his recovery will be uneventful.

My last Lab was horribly bruised when he was castrated, not a mark on the other two I had done. I am sure you will find him much brighter tomorrow, maybe the pain medication makes him feel a bit yucky. I didn't give any pain medication, they just had an pain relief injection after the op was done. I hope he feels so much better by tomorrow.

He's had some tumours removed and a very deep rooted tooth extraction. He's got stitches in his mouth so I think they wanted him to be in as little pain as possible. He's not allowed out for a walk until next Tuesday. Today he was standing on the chair with his cone on as I took Iver out, barking his head of he was so upset. Hes so funny. He's doing ever so well Sonia considering how much he's had done.

He is the most lovely dog and it must be painful to have stitches in his mouth. I am so pleased he is doing well after having both ends of him operated on! He will be so much better without the tumours and his boy bits and I am sure will soon bounce back. However, it is difficult to see them not feeing well and you can't tell them why and 'it will feel better soon'.x
