My neighbour was looking for some insulation. It just happened that my OH noted an advert for free insulation on Facebook, so he contacted them and asked if it was still available? Yes, they reply, just collect it from our back garden. Great!!! Hubs relays this to our neighbour, and let the guy who has the spare insulation material know it will be collected at 3pm ( yesterday)

Soo sounds pretty straightforward.

Last night.. neighbours texts hubby to say... fab! Thank you have collected the insulation.

Text today from the guy advertising the insulation.

"Sorry, but as your friend didn't come and collect, I am letting someone else collect this morning"

:cwl: :unsure::unsure:

Our little Enkelin is two in November. Her language abilities astound me. She speaks English and Georgian.

Full sentences and very clear pronunciation. Eg ā€œPapa is in the bedroom sleepingā€. She also makes comparisons - she brought a piece of funny shaped duplo to the camera on FaceTime yesterday and said ā€œLooks like a boatā€.

She only has one German word - but it’s a useful one - and used to great effect by her bossiness ā€˜Nein!’.

She starts Kindergarten on Monday. My son is still on parental leave and has to attend with her for four weeks!
But he’s glad all the same. He said ’Sheā€˜s too much work for one person’. Her Mum said ā€˜She’s too much work for two people!’ They are right. She’s just as hyperactive as her Omi and Papa before her.

Heā€˜s quite looking forward to kindergarten but he’s not looking forward to the singing circle!

When we got home from our short afternoon walk GGJ began limping as soon as we were through the door. I said 'What's wrong with your paw?'and she laid down on the doormat, all four paws in the air. There was a squashed slug stuck to the bottom of her right front paw. I wiped it off with some damp kitchen roll and kissed it better. She got up and covered my face with licks then very happily ate her tea. Such a GoodGirl, not wanting to tread squashed slug into the house! I had to smile! :inlove:

Harley and I had a really good walk today. We walked down roads, through parks and fields, more roads then through woods to a shopping centre with a Pets at Home store. My OH picked us up there as it took 1.5 hours to walk there. We could have gone just down roads, but it’s so much more fun through fields and woods. Harley found the stream at several stages and came out soaking wet. It was lovely and warm and it was such a nice walk ā¤

She sounds so much like Rowan! He speaks in these long sentences and is just go go go. Thank heavens for daycare or "pweschool" as he calls it.
