What made you smile today?

That looks fantastic & puts mine to shame. Would you share your dough recipe & R's secret for rolling a perfect pizza please?
I use Jamie Oliver's dough from his website. I make sure to use 00 flour and it's very good every time. Our new secret for rolling is a lightly floured silicon pastry mat. It's so good as the dough barely sticks.

Have a look at this quick version @Jelinga - This is for 2- though not overly generous. You could easily do a single portion in a smaller dish. The potatoes are not sliced "mandolin thin" which is what I have tried doing in the past (and failed!), so it just take a minute to peel & slice a person-portion-sized spud. If you can see the video on the page you'll see how they are not too thin.

I have a hideously sharp ceramic blade mandolin, I have cut myself a couple of times on it and I get a bit queasy now when I use it.
That does look so much easier, something I could do, thanks. I have done it the 'other way' and it seemed to take ages.

On the topic of food, I made pizza dough today and R rolled his own pizza, chopped his own toppings and basically made his own dinner. This was the result. He will be moving out soon... (Boy knows his way around a rolling pin!)

Wow, just WOW! I'll have to come over and get a lesson from R as mine always turns out a weird shape

What a great picture! 3 friends hanging out together  Your boys are getting so grown up!!
Jackson is just reaching the point where he's more predictable, less impulsive and less grabby so Ella feels more comfortable to snuggle with him. It's lovely that they're playing together and enjoying each other's company more now.

Nathan and Ella have a very strong bond. They absolutely adore each other.

Yesterday: went to the library with Rowan and he chose a stack of books including "Bin Chicken Flies Again." @Lab_adore will probably appreciate this one!

Today: we went to see the outlaws and my SIL has been unwell with a herniated disc in her lower back and Chewie was very concerned for her wellbeing. Unfortunately in his Chewie like way this manifested a bit weirdly. He kept throwing toys at her and barking. "Aunty Sarah this TOY will make you HAPPY!!!" And then when she fell asleep on the sofa he was quite worried and jumped up, licking her face to make sure she was ok...
