We are Back! After a wonderful couple of weeks in Sicily (me) and being thoroughly spoilt staying with Roberta, possibly the best dog sitter in the world (Joy) we are reunited and home, which is making me smile. So are my memories of a very beautiful island ( pause for photos)

And what's more, next week GGJ and I are going on more adventures, but this time together! This will include a visit to a certain Forum member who used to live just over the hill from us, but has now moved Southwards, so we're really looking forward to it. More photos to come, no doubt. In the meantime it's lovely to be back home with you all again!

I'm seeing the shift in the Jackson-Ella relationship. He's getting older (he's still only 2 but he's growing up), learning how to behave around Ella and developing a lovely bond. Ella is learning to trust him and starting to love him like she loves Nathan.
Tonight she chose to jump on his bed and he was absolutely delighted.

What a beautiful and precious relationship for a child and dog to have! I think that's something that would stand anyone in good stead for the rest of his/her life.
I just want to share a positive NHS story because I know people have been becoming a bit disillusioned with things.
I found a lump in my breast last Wednesday. I called the GP who made me an appointment the same day.
I went to the GP who referred me to the breast clinic and I got an appointment for today.
Went for an appointment today and an ultrasound and a chat with a lovely consultant later, I have been told I have a lipoma and it’s nothing to worry about. I think less than 6 days later is a pretty impressive turnaround.
So me and Stanley are also one with our fatty lumps on our chests

I've been AWOL lately- life got busy and a bit hard, but Rowan said something that I just *had* to share here.
OH says "now bear in mind..." a lot.
And R had obviously been thinking about that a bit because over lunch (prawn dumplings, edamame and fruit fyi) he looked at me very seriously 'Now mum, bear in mind. Actually... I don't want a bear in my mind. Too scary. DOG in mind..."
