What made you smile today?

Debbie had been dreading telling Silas about moving , she had decided that she would tell him when he got in from school today . She has just rung me saying that he was absolutely fine about it all , even saying ` When can we move to Saltash then ? ` He wasnt bothered in the slightest about catching the train to school every morning , we forget that whilst he is on the spectrum of autism , albeit low on the spectrum , he is growing up now , 16 in January and so much more relaxed than he was a few years ago . He will be coming to us every day after school on the school bus to Dobwalls , then catching a bus to his new home about an hour or so later or we can take him , no doubt the dogs will love this ! Big relief all round xxx

Because I haven't been able to walk Joy lately, I've made a point of playing games around the house and garden with her instead. When the games are over for the day I usually say 'finished ' to her, then scatter a few last treats around the floor. I did this today as usual, but there were slightly fewer treats than usual as I need to buy some more. She snaffled all those she could find, then went looking for the rest of them. Having not found any, as a last resort she lifted her bed up with her snout and checked underneath it! It did make me chuckle, such an optimistic girl!
