F is sorting through our NC500 photos and he sent me this . It was raining and the wind was crazy. It makes me smile cos she sat there so patiently and then we watched a coach arrive - everybody got off and lined up for the obligatory photograph, got back on their coach and drove off - an image stuck in my mind

Sometimes I feel like I'm juggling everything and never succeeding. Between work and all of the kid stuff, plus all of the volunteer stuff (school Council, finance subcommittee, basketball team manager, cricket team manager, kinder committee etc. etc.) it gets draining at times.

Today OH had a training day and dinner/drinks. After work, I was picking the boys up and we decided on a spontaneous beach trip . It was only mid 20s so not exactly beach weather but we still had lots of fun and enjoyed the afternoon. This evening at dinner, Jackson said "going to the beach makes me feel happy" and at bed time Nathan said "thanks for taking us to the beach, I love spending time with you". It's small moments like this that make me feel like I'm not getting it wrong all the time

Hooraaaay! The move to close railway ticket offices has not gone through due to the volume of public protest! I am so very pleased, not just because it means GGJ and I can continue with our adventures, but also because it feels like a victory for all the people who are often treated as if they are invisible, or somehow don't count, because they're disabled, or older, or not good with technology, or don't have smart phones...... So to anyone who signed the petitions or made any other objection to the proposals, Thankyou so much!
