Reuben made me smile today , he ran up and down a stream, just for the fun of it , glee on his goofy face ! Nelly stood watching him , like she thought he was insane ! I was feeling quite down earlier as my husband isnt too well right now, but it is impossible to stay down for long with the dogs around, they really do lift the spirits xx
Get well soon Paul - and keep making your Mum smile Reuben! xx

I love that Nathan is learning so much from having Ella in the family. He now frequently asks to share a small amount of his meal or snack with her. He is also often talks of her when we're out. For example, today he said "we should go home now as Ella is on her home and would like to go out for a walk." I can't imagine how you could possibly begin to teach such compassion.

Things to look forward to!

We picked up most of the "big" baby items today and it was unexpectedly exciting. Niw to assemble all the bits..
Iโ€™ve kept Stanley away from the spit up ๐Ÿ˜‚ Iโ€™m such a mean mam to him!

Baby shopping was the best - what did you get? I loved shopping for my pram and decorating the nursery.

I spent a fortune and got farrrrr too much and now spend my time putting him between items to try and get my moneys worth ๐Ÿ™ˆ

So many things!

An awesome pram (Uppababy) with the cutest yellow bassinet. Best of all, that bassinet was on clearance and very cheap.

Um... another bassinet which doubles as a change table for upstairs. A cot, car seat with the easy clean fabric for poonamis, cool weather sleep swaddles, normal swaddles, sheets. It is so much fun! We are also spending too much. Even my OH who is pretty cheap normally is getting into it...

My dad apparently bought some handknitted booties from a Country Womens' Association stall. Aww.
