We had a hail storm which turned into a thunder storm, directly overhead. Cue another dose of drugs for Willow, and she was more upset than I've seen her recently, with a bit of trembling when there were two claps of thunder at the same time, either side of the house. To be fair, we all jumped at that! So our morning walk was put off until it had passed, and once it had, I left Willow on her bed while I got the others ready. I went out the door and shouted to J that I was just taking the three of them, when a black thing streaked past me and ran to the gate, where she stood, prancing to go out.
"You're not going without me, woman!!"
I did a few little training exercises before we set off on our walk, as I often do to get engagement and focus from the start, but left Willow out ... until she barged in on me, demanding she have her turn, too. Tail wagging furiously, hugely responsive to the cues.
It just made me smile so much
