He has gone. Was very peaceful. He curled up on my lap and stayed there for the entire thing, no struggling just snuggled up until he fell to sleep.
Was very special as when we got back to the car there was a very fat robin jusy sitting on it looking at us. OH believes that Robins are sent from heaven to watch over us.
Run free Leo. Thank you for all you did.
Oh, Leanne, I'm so glad it was peaceful but so, so sorry your boy has gone. It was your final act of love and kindness to him. Look after yourself, and take comfort from your OH.
And because life is just determined to kick me today, Mas has refused food and is now being sick repeatedly despite the anti sickness (which he’s now on IV) they are now very concerned and are keeping him in overnight again.
If they can’t get it under control he’s going in for exploratory surgery tomorrow morning.
Ah, Leo - run free, sweetheart, and know how much you are loved.
And Leanne, you deserve a break...rotten news about Mas. But it sounds like your vets are on top of it and doing all the right things.
Thinking of you all...
Oh Leanne, I’m so sad for all of you, but glad it was peaceful. I’ve heard the same thing about robins so I hope that brings you some bit of comfort today. Fingers are crossed that Mas shows some recovery today and that surgery won’t be required. That’s a beautiful tribute collage you’ve put together....lovely memories.
What a beautiful collage of photos of Leo. I just love the one of him licking the ice cream. You can see the love in those photos. What a magnificent boy. I am so sad for you for your loss.
