Why do they have to get old?

That’s a really thoughtful card from your vets. I’m so sorry, sending you many hugs. You have a fine plan for scattering Leo’s ashes xx

Its been a very tough time for you Leanne , a time in which you haven't been able to grieve , Mas has been your priority which is right, but it has left you unable to give yourself over to missing Leo . I hope that now Mas is well again , you will allow yourself to grieve , to cry but also think of the happy times you had with your lovely old lad . Scattering ashes at a favourite place is a wonderful thing to do xx

What a lovely gesture from your vet. I do hope you can rest a bit, although I wouldn't be surprised that now the adrenalin has subsided from the last few stressful days, you may feel sad, so do be kind to yourself and allow those tears to flow

That was a kind thought from your vet. I'm sure you must be thinking more about Leo now that Mas is out of danger, and I hope you can remember happy times you had with him.

Leo just came home. Was significantly harder than I expected. He’s in a lovely tube that has forget me nots drawn all over it.

Weird really. When I had the idea that he was ‘just’ with the vets it was easier than looking at that tiny little tube.

Life really is shockingly shit sometimes.
