We saw a bat over our garden. I had previously thought there were no bats here. I've looked and I've stood out with the bat detector, but nothing. Now I know I didn't look for long enough.

Last night were were lying on the grass, watching the stars come out one by one. Then at 10:45 it flitted over. We both saw it and cried "BAT" together. I fetched the bat detector & we heard the familiar clicks of the hunting bat. Then it flew elsewhere. No more came, but it was so exciting.

I love my new hat, thanks @Heidrun ! I wore it outside today while I was working- in the shade but still helped with glare. It's so comfy, and really cool to wear too, many hats make your head hotter.
I also sold just over £30 on ebay in the last two weeks, so the hat was basically free .

Monty's not quite so impressed. Bear has already stolen it twice so I need to keep it well out of his reach!

Yes I did, love it. so comfy. I wanged it on him really quickly. I think he was bemused. Or just momentarily blinded!

The extension in my bungalow is nearly complete. Kitchen is in, radiators on, kitchen flooring done, painting all done. Carpets are being fitted on Saturday then everything is ready to use. It’s a 7x8m kitchen, dining room and kitchen and I love it so much already. My OH put the lights up I brought tonight and they look soooo good
