One of my Clumbers has a hip score of 3:4 which is excellent in his breed. Occasionally he puts in the classic bunny hop so many people believe to be a sign of bad hips. Just shows that a funny gait is sometimes just the way a dog moves, nothing more.

Poor Merlin! An abscess can be such a nightmare. Alice had one in her throat a few years ago and I am still haunted by the massive hole it caused at the time, which eventually healed up completely. Hopefully the antibiotics will do the trick. Get well soon Merlin!
