I have a garden 'helper' too, loves digging, pulling leaves off plants and picking up stones!

We bathed, (well, showered, we don't have a bath, luckily it's a large shower so other half rolled up his jeans and got in with the dog :ROFLMAO:) Buddy the first weekend home as he was smelly. The blanket from mum was done after a couple of weeks as I couldn't bear the smell of it any longer...

Hi and welcome @Jilldrinkwater from Buddy and I in Yorkshire. Sending my sympathy for the new puppy owner tiredness, I was desperate for sleep the first 2 weeks Buddy was home, he has been here a month now and it does get better x

I think I have a monster too Kate, Buddy is just over 14kg at 14 weeks, but I can feel his ribs and see a waist, thinking he is just a big boy!

When we decided we were getting a male puppy, OH wanted to call him Buddy as we were getting him near Xmas and one of his favourite films is Elf, so I didn't get much choice! To be fair, I didn't come up with any alternatives so Buddy he is :)

The best I could get of him standing still, he is like a whirlwind today!

His grandad was a field trial champion and I think there is a few others on that side of his family as well

Buddy just after 10 weeks when he came home and was very confused by his reflection in the window! And now at 12 weeks, growing like a weed!

This made me smile today when I was sat on the floor and Buddy came for a cuddle. He snuggled down for a nap on my knee, but not going to let this become a habit, won't be as much fun when he is fully grown weighing a ton and wants to do it :ROFLMAO:

Thanks Joy, we were debating whether to do this. Have to keep reminding ourselves he has only being home a week and is doing really well so far.

Going good, toilet training is great, not many accidents and he has learnt to sit when told to. He also waits when told for his food. The biggest thing we are working on being left alone, he is fine during the day and goes in and out of his crate happily, but cries at night when we go to bed. We...

I think Buddy is going to be a big lad too, he was 9.1kg at 10 weeks when the vet weighed him last week, and from our attempt at weighing him at home yesterday he is now 10.4kg at 11 weeks, although not sure how accurate our scales are!
