I think it helped in the pub that we were outside, and the coffee shop we just stayed for a drink, didn't risk trying lunch on his first visit, but we were impressed that he settled, especially with other dogs so close.

That's good to know, his blankets need a wash so will chuck the harness in with them.

Thank you, not sure if I had built it up in my head that he would be a nightmare, but I was expecting worse, need to have some faith in him! I know we have the terrible teens to come but it's nice to feel we are getting somewhere with him and are doing things right so far.

I made sure I rinsed it out after he had been in the sea. So far it's ok, but it is new (big lad had outgrown his other one!) Can they can go in the washing machine on a low temperature?

This was the first time he had been to the sea, he was straight in it. And zoomies in the sand were so funny, moved too fast for me to get any photos of that!

We have just been away for a week in our campervan to Northumberland. Wasn't sure how Buddy would be, he has been away for 2 nights before in it, but not a week. He was a star 😀- settled well on the campsite despite having to be on lead or tethered to something all the time. Some great walks...

I need a new harness for Buddy as he has nearly grown out of his current one, but can't decide between one of these or the Perfect Fit. At 6 months with lots of growing still to do, am I better off with Perfect Fit so I can just swap a section rather than the whole harness as he grows?

Not sure this was how he was referred to after his attempt at the Olympics at the weekend :ROFLMAO: although it's hard to stay cross with that face for long

I struggle with 1 dog! But on a serious note, it doesn't sound very safe or responsible.
