Is this really how much a labrador puppy costs?

I did wonder that it has affected the price. How much would the realistic price be? I can't believe that people will pay that though.

Is this really how much a labrador puppy costs?

No I'm not getting a puppy, however it's nice to dream but these prices can't be real, can they? I had been reading about the cost of cross breeds going into thousands of ££££ and thought I would check labradors and I'm shocked. Now I know this is not a reputable site to buy pups from...

    Weather

It's winter here. Cold, wet and windy. On the plus side only the few regular dog walkers out. Conclusion, the biggest percentage of dogs in this village only get walked on nice sunny days. So not very often.

The new protocol at the vets.

Cupar had to get his anal glands emptied as he was back to chewing his leg. I phoned the vets and spoke to the vet nurse, she then decides whether the dog needs to be seen by the vet. An appointment was arranged for me to take Cupar to the vets but stay in my car in the car park outside the...

    A new world

One thing I've really liked and don't want it to change, is my children shopping for me. Just sending a quick text asking if I need anything. I dislike shopping especially food shopping , I'm not in the at risk categories but as a family it has been lovely knowing if I needed anything, I...

    Just. So. Much. Hair

But the positive in ALL the dog hair is, the birds have got such comfortable nests. I brushed Cassie during the week outside and within a couple of hours it had all gone.

    Your Intact Male

Cupar thankfully has no interest in the females. In 1975 my first dog started foaming at the mouth, howling and scratching the outside door. My mother was so upset as she said it looked like distemper. The door was opened and he took off straight to our neighbours two doors up and found out...

The view from my window, absolutely love this time of year, when the cows get out into the fields. Summer is officially here.

    Small Black Dog fully retired

I really feel sad for you, it's not easy having a dog that's nearing the end of their life. With Cassie I know we're on borrowed time. So I'm taking a leaf from her book and living day by day. We get good days and bad days. If I street walk her too far ( which is just around the block) I can...

    Kipper’s got a limp

Not sure what would happen but this one was on the biggest pad and must have been painful, as the limp has now gone. No infection and it looked liked a blackhead, so I wasn't a 100% sure it was a thorn. After wrapping the paste on it, it seemed to get darker, so I had to pick off the skin that...

    Kipper’s got a limp

@HAH , I hope kipper is still doing well and sorry for jumping on your post. I thought I would update Cupars limp. Today after getting 2 bits of thorn out, I was determined to keep at it until I resolved the very small black dot on his top pad. I'm glad I did. This is what came out this morning...

    Kipper’s got a limp

After a week with a limp on and off and then by Friday constantly limping, I decided on Saturday to get a new tub of magnesium sulphate and steep his foot first in the Epsom salts bath before applying a clean sock with the paste. I checked his foot tonight and could see 3 black dots on his...

    Annual Jabs

No they won't be but there is a few vets around here recommending if the dog is more than 3 months late over the year, that they will need to start from the beginning. Titre testing when we come out of lockdown, will show whether the dog needs any vaccinations.
