Fairly lightweight , easy reading and whilst fiction , they are based on actual fact about the listening post at Porthcurno on our south coast . I had never realised how much the area was bombed in WW11 . I will download book four...

My faith in humanity has been restored today . Following the storm in which so much damage was done here in Cornwall , a local fencing and landscaping man posted on local FB pages that he would come and make fences safe for those in need , free of charge .. I got in touch as we had a fence panel...

I have spent most of the afternoon trying to make a blockade where the missing fence panel once stood . Reubs isnt interested in trying to find a way out but the small intrepid adventurer is another kettle of fish :facepalm: Lord, it looks such a mess , upturned garden table, two hose reels...

Our power went off again late evening , its back this morning thank goodness . We have a fence panel smashed to bits, the one that should be attached to the garden gate so the garden is not safe for the dogs until we can get someone to replace the panel . The shed roof looks a bit worse for wear...

Only fully off for about half and hour but now we have the flickering on and off malarky, it sounds horrendous out there xx

Power is back, for now at least , its a god job we had lots of candles bought for us at Christmas ! xxx
