He has been a star , no mithering or looking at the porch where he lead hangs , he has just accepted it making do with a few ball chucks in the garden and then hunkering down until the afternoon deems it safe to venture out . Dare I say that he has acted in a mature way ?
Hmm , that bouncy boy is still in there but under lock and key for the moment , oh how I love him xx
I no longer stress over his behaviour bad or good , just accept him for what he is and love him to bits as I love Nelly xxxx P.S. Well I try not to stress
But more experienced Kate, and this is worth much more than having slightly younger knees!its just that I am olderI no longer stress over his behaviour bad or good , just accept him for what he is
It's interesting isn't it? Do you think that going back to it made him sharper and more focussed ? I didn't do any retrieving with Cassie for ages, but whenever I do it now she's really keen.He knew just what to do even after a long break.
He loves it so much! It's been the best for him. I only wish we started when he was younger.@JES72 well done ignoring the shot. It sounds as if Homer is talented in man trailing, sounds an exciting thing to do.
We sat in the car for a few minutes as I didnt want to dogs to spook the pony but one of the ladies said please dont wait for us we may be here for some time , he never wants to go home
I got Nelly out , then Reuben out of the back but kept his lead on , he stood and looked at the pony for a couple of moments , no adverse reaction at all and then looked at me as if to say, Why arent you taking my lead off Mum ? So with some trepidation I let him go whereupon he set off on the trail without even a backwards glance at the pony , good lad Reubs x
