I wondered the same!Wow, it’s so gorgeous. I love the way the village is huddled between the beach and the outcrop…has it ever gotten flooded?

Wasn't as bad as many!Lovely photos! The sandy bay looks perfect - just a pity about the uphill walk back!
There seems to have been a massive North Sea Storm in 1953 which washed away many of the huts and wooden structures, but this was a huge storm, killing many along the coastal areas, not just in Scotland, but I see mentions of The Netherlands also.Wow, it’s so gorgeous. Its quiet right now. A bit off season. Also the road up here is technically closed right now for roadworks which I think might be reducing footfall too.Looks so desolate. Was anyone else about?
I agree - and me and Tatze will come with you!I love all these photos and just seeing how happy you all are (even Lily has her smile on). You're just lovely quines, the two of you (or the FOUR of you?) . And darn it, I have to make it up to Scotland to see all that beautiful stuff!

You could drop off to see Joy and me on the way........or better still, pick us up!I agree - and me and Tatze will come with you!
