This is really positive news @Candy, I hope you have a deep and restful sleep to celebrate. Dear Joy will be feeling a whole world better already; what a blessed relief xxx

So glad it was something they’ve been able to fix. Poor little love will be home where she belongs very soon xx

Oh my gosh, Candy, I've been away for the last few days so out of normal radio contact and I come back to read all about this scare. I speed-read to find your updates and I'm so glad they found out the cause, and that it's something that should hopefully be quite easily treatable. It's always horrible when our beloved dogs are in pain but at least you know what has been causing it now. My thoughts are with little Joy for a speedy recovery.

This is such good news! I've had two abscesses drained (neither in my mouth) and the recovery was easy. She must have been so uncomfortable, opening her jaw must have been a struggle. I'm sure she'll be right as rain in no time.

So glad it's something treatable and hope shes home tomorrow. Such a lovely dog she must have been in awful pain and still her GGJ self. He's hugs to you both xxx
Yes, I think that's what has really got to me throughout this. She must have been in so much pain, yet not a single snarl or growl (i have been known to snarl when in pain) just continually sweet and gentle. Also frightened, which I'd not seen in her before and therefore very upsetting. Bed now. Pick my girl up tomorrow, all being well. Goodnight, Dog bless.xxx
