Homer being sick

For those of you who are medically minded hers the technical information. Pheochromocytoma, a catecholamine releasing tumour
He’s going to go onto blood pressure medication.
I’m a bit surprised that they didn’t look into this first and take out the adrenal gland with the spleen. A lot of the symptoms such as the nausea and drinking more and being hungry were things we mentioned although as an afterthought. I suppose the spleen mass was more obvious.
Anyway, they are more prepared, next lot of surgery will be in a few weeks time.
Apologies this is turning into a bit of a saga.

Wonderful news about the benign nodules, upsetting about the adrenal gland tumour. I really don’t know if this is something that would help with the sort of reaction Homer had with his heart, but Axel had a heart condition so anytime he was put under he was given a different anesthetic than what was most commonly used, one that was quickly reversible incase his heart acted up. I’m sorry, I really don’t remember the technical terms 😔 but that always gave me a bit more reassurance when he had to be put under. Maybe something to discuss with your vet? But like you said, they are a lot more prepared this time ❤
