Homer being sick

How is his liver functioning? did the vet test his blood for liver problems?

They’ve done lots of scans so been looking physical things, i think the next step is more blood tests. I’m not sure if we found the incidental and still not solved the initial problem.

He's much better. Good appetite and firmer poops. We are still keeping him on very short lead walks but he is wanting to go a bit furhter and is stronger. Hopefully all the nasties are now out.

For the last two nights Homer has been having reflux and regurgitation. on Monday night he was bringing up small amounts at 2:30am. Last night he has sick, bringing up fluid or retching on and off all night. We have a check up with our local vet today and am also waiting for a response to an email I sent to the specialist vet. He was quite subdued yesterday morning and is the same this morning. It’s 9am and he still hasn’t got up. (Although neither have I) There is still something more going on with him.

I’m so sorry for you both. I hope you get some answers that can help. Homer and you must be exhausted having been up a lot in the night.

Lucky I’m now on school summer holidays so have time to do nothing else but take care of him. We had a check up at our local vet, would is healing well. She’s very concerned about the sickness and will contact the specialist vets. He was definitely still nauseous when he was there. I hope we can get an appointment soon.
