Pleased he is recovering so well, dogs are amazing.

Perhaps it was the tumour behaving like a tumour that wad in fact the cause of the racing heart.it was his adrenal glad that sent his heart racing.

I wonder if these are some of his symptoms he just cant tell us.Perhaps it was the tumour behaving like a tumour that wad in fact the cause of the racing heart.
Symptoms in humans would include high BP, palpitations, nervousness, weight changes, tummy pain......
Maybe better out than in, even though I totally understand your concerns.

This is upsetting, and I know you know but keep close eyes on yourselves too for delayed trauma. You've been through - and are going through - a lot, and you need decompression as much as darling Homer. It's really tough and we're all here to listen and mull options as needed.Yes it has become clear that when they took a sample from his adreanal gland it released a surge of adrenaline which sent his heart racing over 200 bpm! They had to resussitate him to get it back. It's only now that I can think about how touch and go it all was.
Its still his adreanal gland that is behaving abnormally and could be the cause for his nausea and vomiting which was our initial symptom something wasnt right.
