Homer being sick

So good to see that Homer is home xx
I think if I were you I would ask the vets re sunscreen.
Do you think Homer would be happy in a medivest? I still have the one Cass had post spay, if you want to try it?

His a bit off his food today. He’s had some but less than half of what would be usual. Only one squishy poop this morning.
Poor fella, hopefully a passing phase. Did the vet say anything about what to expect? It sounds like this might be within the range for normal reactions to a big surgery. May tomorrow be a good appetite day x

He must be feeling a bit out of sorts after all he's been through, poor boy. Have you tried specially tasty food, like chicken/tuna and rice? He'll probably get his appetite back as he recovers from his trauma and settles back into his normal routine. xxx

I hope Homer gradually begins to pick up. He's bound to need to take it easy for a bit while he recovers. Molly had a large patch of hair shaved for her lump removal and it did take a while to grow back but you wouldn't know where it had been now. xx

Homer's poops are still squishy and mustard yellow in colour. After his first surgery his poops were a not more normal. He's still on the Hypoallergenic food. He has been tested and cleared for pancreatitis but I'm not so sure anymore.
Is it useful to talk to the vet to ask their view? I don’t know about the test (s) for pancreatitis but all tests can be wrong so if you’re concerned, ask for follow up.

Poor boy  Whenever Axel had upset tummies or procedures done, I would usually put him on a wet canned food from the vet that would help with sensitive tummies and help his poops be more firm and regular, also helping him stay hydrated. Maybe your vet offers something similar?

Maybe something to ask your vet if they think otherwise everything else is fine. Sending healing vibes:hug:
