Homer being sick

It appears than an endoscopy to get a better idea of what's going on is the next step that we do need to take. This will only be able to be done in the new year as I'm away from the 14th to the 24th visiting my parents. I wish I could postpone the visit but I haven't been to see them for over a year.

Hubby has arranged for four girls from Cambridge rowing to stay in our house this weekend. Some have stayed before so they do know Homer is ill but I'm not looking forward to a house full with a pukey dog. He did tell me he still wanted to host them but he didn't tell me it would be for three nights!

So, on Sunday I left Homer with Hubby and the rowing girls and went all the way to Penarth by train for Christmas get together with Hubby's Aunts and cousins and families. I quite like them, so happy to go by myself. Hubby fed Homer six, 6! tins of food. Homer didnt regurgitate once. As Hubby said, he was on a roll so just kept on giving him more! Only small regurgitations today so all good.

I was away for 10 days visiting family as well as @M.F. And Snowie in South Africa while Hubby looked after Homer. Poor Hubby had a tough time. Homer has been losing more of his food each day with larger amounts of regurgitation. He looks like he has lost weight too, I need to walk him up to the vet to check his weight.
Worst is that I have to go back to work full time for 3 months. Three months feels like a long time with Homer still being so ill. I honestly have to take each day at a time with him.
