I think it’s a very good idea to use the sling now and get Harley used to it before the op and I’m sure it will be helping to ease the pain while she’s walking now. I’ve got everything crossed for you a Harley

Thanks all…..operation is tomorrow. We are going in at 9am and I am starting to worry again. My plan is to go to the park across from the surgery for 10 minutes before we go in to give her a happy start to the day. No food is going to be a challenge as always!

I take mine out straight away, so they don't have time to notice no breakfast! However, one day we set off, empty stomach, Rourke dived into the long grass and came out with a dead baby bird which he started to swallow, panic! I had to almost put my hand down his throat to get it out! So watch out for discarded snacks in the park. Good luck tomorrow, we all will be thinking of you x

The no food is the worst. No one in our house eats on those days, in sympathy. We tell Snowie the night before that there will be no breakfast tomorrow. And weirdly, the next morning he just goes straight to his downstairs bed without asking for food at all.

Best of luck tomorrow. We will all be thinking of you and Harley.
