Going back to vets later this afternoon. Her paw has swollen up more and has pus in between her toes . This poor girl.
P.S managed to get her tablets in her which is a positive

So sorry that Harley’s paw swelled up, although I guess a major op can do this. Did the vet say why there was also pus? I hope all is sorted now and Harley can start her recovery. Such a big op. Must be very painful. Best of luck to you all xxx

Vet visit was good. She has some fluid build up in the op site which is what was leaking a bit. Big bandages are off as vet said it might swell a little bit more yet. Have to ice and massage the area 3 times a day - he was great in explaining everything. Mattress came out of the spare room last night and we had a much better nights sleep. She’s taken her meds well this morning without me having to give them down - dairylea. I’m hopeful for a better day

Good to read there is some improvement, sounds as if you have a good vet which helps. Poor girl, however, it will be worth it in the end.
