Thanks @Cath I will get my OH to pop into ALDI and see if they have them.

Harley is getting there. The swelling in her paw has gone which is great. She’s still taking all her meds still. She definitely needs to be monitored 24/7 as she’s becoming more confident at walking on 3 legs. My OH stayed home with her yesterday as I had a job I couldn’t rearrange. She was good as gold for him - she doesn’t always listen to him, but did yesterday.
This morning I had the pen open very slightly as I was putting on my shoes and she escaped past me to the back door! I nearly had a heart attack!
We are currently chilling in the garden. I’m going to try and get some work done today - we’ve moved my computer to the living room so she can see me. Fingers crossed 😊

We had a vet appointment today. All of the bandages are now off and hoping to remove stitches on Monday. They are really impressed with her progress and how well she is managing. They are also happy that she is starting to want to put some weight on her leg whilst standing.
Preliminary biopsy is that the tumour was benign. They are doing a few more tests just to confirm. My OH has been away for 48 hours and made me realise how mentally exhausting it is to be a lone person looking after a poorly dog. He’s just come home so and I’ve got to start teaching in 20 mins!

That’s really good news! I hope you can now feel a bit more relaxed and Harley continues to make good progress. :thelambiesarecoming:

@Naya that’s brilliant news. Every day I’ve had a quick look first thing to see if you’ve posted any news on Harley’s test results. I was so happy to see your post this morning and that it’s all looking so positive. Harley’s impressive recovery after the op just shows how well you and your OH have been looking after her. It’s hard work I know but the way she’s going it won’t be much longer. :fingers: Of course then you’ll be trying to stop her doing too much.:wasntme:
