Thanks to all for the good vibes for Carbon. ❤

Carbon wants to let you know that he is feeling AMAZING ASTOUNDING and FABULOUS this morning. Apparently being infiltrated (shall we say) by a catheter gives one a new lease on life. He thinks he is once again weeing like a race horse and has his sass back in spades.

He's not weeing like a racehorse, but he is managing a respectable stream and emptying his bladder, which must indeed feel wonderful after a couple days of near stoppage.

I'll keep his surgery appointment tomorrow because clearly he is not 'fixed' but at least he's happy as can be and bouncing around our little studio like a spring lamb. Go, Señor Carbon, go. 👍

I'm feeling better, too. I got very stressed out yesterday and had a panic attack while waiting for him at the clinic. I don't like him out of my sight and even less when I don't trust the people he's with. It was a bad mix. But just because the receptionist really should find another profession doesn't mean the doctors aren't good or that he didn't get good care. This is my issue that I need to deal with. Possibly with good drugs.

For today, it's fun with sassy Carbon, lots of trips out to wee and back to work for me. Tomorrow we'll deal with the health stuff again. 🤞

That’s sounding much more positive this morning. I am not surprised you got stressed out in the vets yesterday. Being met with rudeness is just not helpful and counter productive. You are too hard on yourself - hope Carbon does lots of weeing today 😊

Oh what a horrible time you've had, poor you and Señor Carbòn. If have had a complete meltdown if I'd had seen his catheter out and no way would I have been brave enough to snip his stitches.

Fingers crossed for you both x

Oh you poor little soul @Emily_Babbelhund what an absolute nightmare for you and that brave boy Carbon. These dogs have courage and fortitude like you wouldn't believe.
I was a bit behind the story and have just caught up with what's happened since you got back to Germany As everyone else has said, don't be hard on yourself, you've done everything you could.
I hope the planned surgery, though sounding awful, will fix things properly for Carbon.  for you both x

Hope all goes well tomorrow - it's good to know that Carbon is managing a respectable stream again. If he does start weeing like a racehorse just make sure you stand clear!
