Amigos, I have had a good few days in Cornbeefwall!
First of all, we get to sleep LOTS. Oooooh, no more 4:00am musters to get ready for the train that is probably on strike or nearly blown up by an old bomb. Claro que sí, we still wake up at 4am and we think, “Donde estamos, where are we?”. But then we remember where we are, say “Ha, ha, ha!” and go back under the covers .
Second, I got to see my very best amigo Reuben yesterday. Ojalá, it was the BEST, lo mejor. We ran and ran, he cleaned my ears, and I stole his bed. Some things never change! ML tried to get a photo of us, but we could not stop to pose, so you get this:
Then today ML said it was time to use our National Trust card for the first time in 2024. No, amigos, I have no idea what that means either, but we did go to one of our favorite places to walk. There is a nice garden with lots of special smelly plants and I met some rain deer friends:
And found some Halloween pumpkins?
We did a little walk on the coast path but not too much because…ewweee…too much mud. I do not like mud so we may need to stick to the beach and sand for a while. On the other hand , I found deleeecious rabbit poo to snack delicately on, and that ALMOST makes me overlook the horrible mud. I will think about this dilemma a leeetle more.
Here I am from far
And here I am from close. Que guapo , no?
