We are back down south for a couple of weeks. The rain is so heavy, the mud is so deep so walks are miserable. Can't wait to get back to Scotland! xx

I saw the FB postsI have the privilege of living in the coldest place on earth at the moment. Yippee![]()
indeed. Stay warm @LisaWOW, as it been that cold before? How do you cope?I have the privilege of living in the coldest place on earth at the moment. Yippee![]()
By staying inside, basically. I remind myself that our First Nations people lived here in teepees in the winter....WOW, as it been that cold before? How do you cope?
That’s quite a funny question and I’m intrigued to know the answerMy oh asks if the pee of simba freezes when outside during your walk...?

Well...pretty well, actually, although we keep our outside time short. I haven’t gone for a walk yet today, it’s now 12:25 pm. He hasn’t been outside since about 10 pm last night. I tried to entice him to go out earlier so he could have a pee. Nope. He’s curled on his bed, perfectly content. I will bundle up shortly and take him out for a short walk. It’s warmed up a bit, temp now is -31c (-38 windchill).Goodness @Lisa that's mighty cold. How does Simba cope in these temperatures? xx

Ha ha...well it steams pretty good during exit, but I would guess it freezes within seconds of that. Mind you, I’m not about to conduct any experiments. That’s quite a funny question and I’m intrigued to know the answer![]()

Yes. Bundled up, of course. You have to keep your car plugged in so it will start if you don’t have a heated garage. But you basically go from your house to the car and then inside. I am not seeing anyone else out walking their dogs, that’s for sure. I’m pretty much only going for one short, around the block walk at the moment.Blimey @Lisa - I can’t comprehend what -39 (feels like -47) must feel like. Do people actually go outside?
