At this stage, it looks like Christmas Day is going to be 22 and sunny. Not exactly a nice warm summers day but it should be nice enough to get the kids and dogs outside.

Covid pending (of course), we're going to my in-laws and my parents are coming too. That means we'll have 7 adults, 6 kids and 2 dogs!

We are celebrating with the family on Christmas Eve so we can see my niece and hubby and their gorgeous 1 year old little boy as they will go to his parents on Christmas Day. I went a bit mad on toys for my great-nephew and my great-niece but hey, I'm allowed to be a doting great Aunty right? Sadly my other niece is going to her in-laws in the country so we won't see them. Plus the 1 hour trip turns into 2 hours each way on Christmas day so best to avoid that. The forecast is sunny and 26. Yay! Perfect. We will be 7 adults, one child and one dog. My niece has a cute Papillion but he doesn't cope with other dogs very well so has to stay home.

It is snowing like mad here! It was such a surprise to wake up to snow and still snowing, about a couple of inches deep. Think it will go though, hope so!!!

I was just reading about this online, so wanted to check in and say hope you and the others where it's coming down are ok...and hopefully able to stay off the roads until it passes.

Snow predicted for West Yorkshire tomorrow in the morning. We're driving back in the afternoon, so unless it's very heavy we should be OK. It would be nice to have some for our Wednesday morning walk though, and to watch Joy doing zoomies in it!

On the other hand, we Californians have fits over RAIN. The first rain of the year is always a road disaster of epic proportions. Is it any wonder that I can't drive in snow?

It's been pretty cool here for summer. Mid 20's in the day and mid teens at night. I'm actually enjoying the cooler weat as it means we can get out and about during the day and we haven't been needing heating or cooling at home

Ours has been reasonably dry at least

Snow has been falling here all night and just stopped. Fred and Annie love it and keep doing zoomies.
Got the central heating on and just lit the fire too. Very cold here.
