We are at the same place as last year.
Can believe this time last year it was 45c+ and uncomfortable. This time it is is low 20c, windy with 50kph+ winds and cool. I packed for summer....not winter....

It's definitely snowing on the Mountain this morning. Yesterday was brrrrrr icy, sleety and snowy on the east of the Island.

Well we cant get out of the village even if we wanted to because we have had snow The A38 and A30 are closed so thats us in for a while . The snow is now melting but there is ice underneath it x

I find it hilarious the Aussies say 22degrees isn’t a hot summers day. That would be carnage in Northern UK. Beer gardens full, all the scroats wandering the streets with their tops off.Sunburn central.

A wonderful hoar frost on top of the remaining snow, the hills gleaming white against the bright blue sky. Very beautiful.

I took the dogs to Golitha this morning for the first time in about three weeks as the river has been dangerously high and rapid , too much of a risk with a water loving dog . Reuben was squeaking with delight in the back of the car as we literally slid into the car park , only one other brave soul walking in this icy cold weather . It was lovely , except that my lad did do a runner through the woods for a few minutes , right out of sight but he did come back , waiting for me on the little wooden bridge . The sky has gone very grey , reports of snow on the moors spreading to where we are , it was minus 6 last night and only 1 at the moment x
