It’s pretty bad here today with wind and horizontal rain Harley and I braved the weather and went for a walk to the local fields. Until the last few minutes we didn't see anyone which was great , unfortunately the man with the 2 dogs let them run over and wind Harley up 3 times even though I asked him 3 times to not let them come over
OH had warm towels at the ready for both of us when we got home, along with a cup of coffee for me . The weather is set to get even worse as the day goes on.

The weather is bonkers this year! I've had a couple of evening walks where I could have been in a T-shirt. In February. In a ski resort. This is spring weather, not for Feb!
Is it still very mild where you are, @MellowYellow ?

I took Cupar to the fields today to play with his friend and forgot to put my water proof trousers on. Result was two sodden feet as the heavy rain soaked my trousers within minutes and the water then ran down into my wellys. Everything is sodden, I had to wash the leads, the collar, my gloves as well as Cupar and now my wellys have to dry out.
Looks like tomorrow will be training inside.

I'm supposed to be going to the theatre with a couple of friends this evening but if Sowerby Bridge floods again they would be unable to get home to their dogs. They haven't cancelled yet but I think they probably will. Not at all sure I fancy going out in this either, I much prefer the thought of an evening by the stove with GGJ.

Just come back from a short walk with Reuben , waterproofs and wellies on . I`m afraid I did employ the ball chucker , dont use it often but at least he had a really good run , plus I could get a decent throw into the rough and make him work and think about it . Nelly has only been onto the garden twice today , she hates it . I dont mind too much when I`m kitted up in my oh so fetching outfit

I have to take a certain puppy out to the toilet about every hour/hour and a half.... not much fun in this rain. Thankfully she’s fairly quick at doing the toilet Lilly and Oreo, however, have only been out in the garden once (and on a walk).

We've had torrential rain and wind since just after lunch time....but the rain stopped almost for the hour we were out shooting...then started up again while we were drinking tea afterwards.

Getting worse here , I just heard that the lanes to Golitha are impassable , all the valley is flooded . Trees down everywhere and still the torrential rain falls . On a personal level , we are safe on highish ground so we are thankful x

This is good, but oh my goodness, it's scary.

My daughter has just left here for her boyfriends place 20 miles away, I'm waiting somewhat anxiously for a text to say she's got there. Last week there was a tree down on the lane up to his farm.

I have just been out and nearly got blown off my feet! It is scary - the force of the gusts of wind is massive.

The weather is bonkers this year!

Yep! We're into our second week of humidity and I hate it! Yesterday it seemed to drizzle all day. We didn't get much rain (about 4mm over the 24hrs) but it was warm, wet and gross.

This is not normal for us at all. Our weather is usually dry heat.

Amazing that we're just on the other side of Cornwall and it's so different. We've had barely any rain today, mainly just a load of wind and a sort of horizontal mist. Even that not bad and when I made my Tesco run at 5pm it was still a balmy 12C. I ran into my landlords at the supermarket and they say it's coming in tonight so today was just the warm up. I guess we'll see.

High winds and rain here. I'll have to replace a few fences this time. Even Toby is not happy to go out and the others flat out refused this evening. Most unlike them! Oh, the joys of Global warming!
