Similar here. I must admit I am enjoying this spell of dry bright weather, even if the nights are cold.
Yesterday I found myself thinking that it is like the Australian winter @Emily @Lab_adore that I spent a good many years ago in New South Wales.

We are having the most diabolically warm autumn. Still in short sleeves mostly and only 5 weeks until winter! However there's a cold, wet front coming this weekend that will see the end of it

According to our garden weather station, the last rain we had was 26th/27th April and that was 3.2mm over night (bar some drizzle we had the other day for < half an hour). The land needs rain, I see a lot of sileage being cut at the moment but our food crops will need rain soon.

I drove down through mid Wales yesterday, I couldn't believe how dry the hills are looking, they are usually so lush and green.
We had a really freakish hailstrorm here on Monday afternoon, for nearly ten minutes it was ferocious consisting of chips of ice the size of which I have never seen before. My plants salad crops in pots by mt back door have gone for a burton, and my sweet peas and foxgloves are not looking good.

We had a very wet week last week and from tomorrow they are predicting flooding rain but today was a lovely sunny 23 degrees. I'm surprised Sydney has any water left as surely every single household did all their laundry today
