I was given a box of chocs and a card today by a patient who I saw just the once today, not a regular, but clearly felt I had gone above and beyond.
So sweet. It's nice to feel appreciated.
A smile at the end of a tough week.

My fifth grandchild was born today. 8lb 6oz. He's my daughters first baby a beautiful boy. I'm so happy I'm bursting and my eldest granddaughter took me to meet my newest grandson.
She's nearly 20 years older than her cousin.

It's probably not the most exciting of photos but I somehow always forget about these Autumn Crocuses and then am always so happy to see them. They seem like such brave and determined little flowers, to be cheerfully blooming away while everything else is closing down ready for winter.

Just watching my lovely dogs on our afternoon walk . Nelly pottering along so sedately , sniffing hither and thither whilst the big boy charged around the woodland, checking in with me often and having a swim . Thinking how lucky I am to have them both xxxx

Getting out for a run with Willow. I love our girly time alone together. I wasn't so pleased when I got back after my 10k, gasping for a drink, and the gate was locked because J had gone out with the others and hadn't left the key in our hidey-hole. So I had to go run another couple of km to try to find him. Not what I was planning on!
