Indeed. Today I’ll be getting paid for going to the beach and delivering puppies.... not too bad!Hard life you have there, @Sophiedoodle![]()

Yes, that is wonderful, it would please me too xxbut it does please me greatly that a 24 year old and a 72 year old enjoy hanging out together x
Well... That puts my plastic tree to shame... Finally got it up today and in a fit of Christmas spirit I ordered ornaments for Rowan and Chewie. The neighbours (just up the block from us) have quite the display. A little over the topbut still cheery on a dark cold night walk.

My nephew, currently living in North Vancouver sent me a video of a garden near where his girlfriend lives yesterday. It's even more OTT than your neighbours'! Is it a particularly Canadian thing? The neighbours (just up the block from us) have quite the display. A little over the topbut still cheery on a dark cold night walk.

Maybe? This Toronto home's festive display is like something out of a Christmas movieIs it a particularly Canadian thing?
Well, if the Grinch is anything to go by.....My guess is it's the same in the States.

Yeah, in fact in the US it's even more over the top.Maybe? This Toronto home's festive display is like something out of a Christmas movie

I agree! I do love the lights, especially trees with strings of lights on the trunks, or on the branches. But all that blow-up clutter is too much!I really hate those blow up santas and snowmen.
And think that all these house decorations just look downright SAD during daylight hours.
You would appreciate OH's lights this year...self proclaimed "talk of the neighbourhood"! hahaespecially trees with strings of lights on the trunks
