Shamas on his walk made me smile. It's hot, and he won't drink water when we're out...so I bought him a cold bottle at timmies, and poked a hole in it.

The whole way home, he dribbled water down his chin, walking with his holey water bottle dripping into his mouth

Arrived in Scotland about 2 hours ago for 2 months. Having a cuppa looking out at our views with my dogs and some of our children. Still bright blue sky and won't get dark until around 10.30 - 11 pm. I feel so happy here. Perfect!! xxx

Enjoy! I miss my fourteen weeks a year in Scotland, with the lovely, long summer evenings (and the midges, if the swallows hadn’t sorted them!) and the beautiful sunsets.

Last night J and I went to a wine tasting evening at the castle in our local town. We were walking home afterwards and went through a car park surrounded by some houses, when we heard a bark, a man shouting, and a dog came bounding up to us. A six-month old dachshund! Haha, she was so sweet, full of wags and licks. Her mum then ambled over, followed by a very apologetic man. He looked a bit bemused that by this time I was sat on the floor of the car park, getting puppy cuddles from a wriggle-bum. He was like, "Oh, most people are scared when dogs run up to them!".

Honestly, she was the size of my two hands.



PS, yeah, probably didn't help with her "not running up to strangers" issue...

I'm all very non-eco Oven Pride but don't know how to clean the oven up at the grill bit. Always manky.
Might get done once a year before visitors at Christmas.

Just taken the boys to the loch with Hattie & Charlie and what a superstar Charlie was. Staying with us, swimming a lot, pottering around keeping an eye on us all. He did a long range whistle recall. Super happy with that. An all round great walk. xx

I have one of those electronic photo frames that had been put away for years as we'd lost the memory disk thingy for it when we'd been decorating. While sorting out my new computer we came across the file with all the photos. I sat last night going through them deleting some and adding Baxter to the mix Today we've had a few smiles looking at all the old and new photos

I was passing them to him , he went a bit teary and said " I love you just as much now as I did then " Just as I was about to cry , he added , " despite the wrinkles, grey hair and extra pounds " You just got to laugh Just prior to lamping him one

We're loving Toy Story at the moment. Nathan's seen all of the movies (we went to watch Toy Story 4 last weekend) and we surprised him with a new toy this weekend


When I dropped him off at childcare/kinder this morning, he ran straight up to the teacher and said "Hi Jess! I've got a Woody!"
