Homer being sick

He had injections this morning which has helped. He is walking around more easily and has done a few pees this evening. If I get timing right i should be able to get tablets down him. I‘m not sure a PEG would give him quality of life. It will be a tough call.
Thinking about the likely hood of an improvement in his quality of life is a really important thing to think about for Homer at the moment. I'm so sorry about all of this there's so much to think about. It's a tough situation with so much emotion involved. ♥

Thank you for all your positive vibes.
He has kept down a tin and a half of his tinned food and some of his jelly. He is sleeping calmly next to me and his breathing is a lot better. His shoulder doesnt appear to be hurting him as much. His medication has stayed down too.
The vet we've been seeing the most at the local practice has moved to Australia! The other one who knows Homer is still there so I'll make an appointment to see her on Monday. I'm not a fan of the locum Saturday vet, but then he doesn't know Homer and I supose was concerned when he saw him, no knowing what is normal for Homer. Luckily the lovely vet nurse was there and she known Homer well.

Homer had his kennel cough vaccine week before last. I have suspicions that it may be the kennel cough vaccine that he is reacting to He had a cough after his vaccination last time. But it still doesn’t explain the weakness he gets from time to time.
Rory due to his health problems can get weak. In his case its low blood sugar. He can't digest or keep his food in so he behaves like he's a bit out of it and can collapse. It's happened a few times and is very disturbing. Usually he picks up and is ok when he's able to eat again.

Just been to the vet, the lovely practice vet who knows Homer well. Apparently he is often discussed amongst the practice group. He had no sign of infection in his lungs. I suspect his immune system took a knock with the kennel cough vaccine. He does have arthritis in his shoulders and hips. She is going to check Liberia will be suitable to take with his other meds then start injections. He was his normal self with the vet rolling on the floor for tummy rubs.
