Having said that I disliked sport, I absolutely loved swimming (I don't think I ever thought of it as a 'sport', just something it was wonderful to do.) I was clumsy at most sport, prone to falling over my own feet and I used to think 'At least I can't fall over when I'm swimming '. Getting into the cold water and swimming as fast as possible to warm up was part of the pleasure of it!
This is me also @Candy, to a tee. My whole family are water babies and I'm at my happiest when submerged :D
Mind you, my ability to cope with cold water has completely disappeared after having our solar heated pool for 10 years. We do swim for 8 or 9 months of the year but it's never below about 25 degrees

Have you taken the UK weather home with you?!
I thought so for sure! The storm has finally passed and today is still and sunny and forecast for a nice 25 degrees. We are heading up to the Blue Mountains where my sister and family all live as my nephew, his wife and their brand new baby boy are visiting from Melbourne. I'm excited to meet my latest great-nephew

We finally got Maxx out for a good walk yesterday arvo and there are branches and debris all over the roads and the pleasure grounds & gardens looked like a mega-cyclone had gone through
