Big thanks to our trainers and those in our Mantrailing group who have been so supportive from when we started and Homer was scared of noises to helping me through all the medical conditions we are dealing with.
Wow, this is just amazing. It's wonderful that, poorly as he is, he still has this to do and enjoys it to the full. Really lovely to read this Janet xxI nearly didn’t take Homer man trailing on Saturday as he’d not had a good week. He did so well and had so much energy. the last trail back to the cars after a paper chase ending with hot chocolate was a challenge to see who could find the misper (missing person) first. Well Homer of course!
What is really interesting is that since he has been ill his fear of noises has almost entirely faded. Two of the other dogs went back early as there was some shooting near by. Homer just looked at me and put his head on my hand to say it’s OK Mum.
A therapy dog in the making? It warmed my heart to see this man soaking up Hugo love and seeing the joy all over his fac
